StrataShield®
Impact-/abrasion protection for trenchless pipe laying and protection of wear prone area
StrataShield® is made of a highly wear-resistant fiber reinforced polymer composite to protect substrates during trenchless pipelaying or other wear prone surfaces
The product features include:
- Its high surface hardness in combination with the high bonding strength to the substrate make it an ideal solution for the protection of a pipeline from impact- and abrasion damage during Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) and/or while buried in the ground from soil movements and excavator damage
- Other areas of application are enforcement of wear prone areas, such as support struts on pipes and pipelines
